    Version 25.0 Released!

    Version 25.0 10/24/13
Yes this mod is still alive. It was just on a few month break :P. Large internal rewrites, some by jacksonmj, some by me. Elements and element drawing code, menu code, brush code, and some other related things were all redone (partially to completely). Move around a few elements. Fix !set type and !set ctype sometimes not working. Specific delete now activated by 'Delete' or ctrl+semicolon. Many simulation updates from tpt++, including PROT and official VIRS. Add Comment scrolling velocity. Fix not being able to save local saves with mod elements.

So Yeah, this mod is back now. I think that's the longest break between versions since its release 2 years 6 days ago (3.5 months). I hope to get updates out faster now, maybe you will see some smaller bugfix versions in the next few days even. Also i'd like to point out that I did in fact compile this on linux even though I was saying I was going to keep doing it on windows. Noone that originally had version 24 would be able to update because they wouldn't have the dll, and also I use VS2013 now, and i'm sure like no one at all has msvcr120.dll. Sorry to anyone on windows XP that can't run it, maybe i'll figure something out later. I added in some more optimization flags too, maybe this one will be just as fast as it always has been. It's a fresh linux too. 32 bit linux versions coming later, it's so fresh I first compiled tpt today and installed a ton of programs I need ...

Also don't worry about the "large rewrites" part. It's fine, probably it has less bugs than before in fact (unlike tpt++. that was redone from scratch, this was redone from what I had). I'll continue some rewrite in the future, which will enable me to add features I couldn't before I hope.

Download Version 25.0 - legacy for windows. Use this if your computer is too old for the first one or it's just somehow faster
Download Version 25.0 for 64 bit linux.

It's been so long since I last did this, lol. I guess I was supposed to name the zips with a 25.0, not a 25 ...

Anyway, I fixed the links. Should all work now.

Would Neutron decay be viable? After the life falls to zero, instead of the neutron being removed, a proton and electron would be created.

that sounds like it would break a lot of stuff, and not be useful enough to make me want to make an option ...

This mod is more about keeping saves working the same, while adding features that make the game better.

I don't liike this new version, especially the adjustments to VIRS. It has lost its glow/blurryness, and VRSG has become looking like GAS from TPT 20 ish.

I don't know what you are talking about, VIRS and VRSG have no change in looks from the last version except for not showing deco color. And I changed how they work only slightly, they should be faster now.

Unrelated, but WARNING: don't run this in the same folder as your normal tpt for now. It might cause the mod to crash on startup until you delete powder.pref. If you do get the crash, delete that though.

I haven't done any testing at all except for notice the crash myself, but I think it's with the console. If you don't run any console commands you might be able to run them both in the same location, but i'll release an update soon.

This is the same powder.pref crash people have been constantly reporting to me since version 24 (possibly happening earlier)

Edit: fixed, but i'll update it later tonight. I want to do a few other things too, ex. fix the icons on the explosives and gases menus because that's getting confusing ...

Ok, so I could post pics to show the difference, what site would you reccomend? A thought I have just had is it is like Fancy mode is not engaging. I'll check that theory with PLUT, and will edit this after I have checked.

Nope, it is not that, as PLUT has the normal green glow.

I use imgur, I don't think you even need an account to post the pictures.
