    Saying a newborn is an atheist is like saying a slug is depressed because he doesn't live in a mansion.
    A newborn wouldn't have any concept of atheist vs. non-atheist.

    But... They are still Atheist because they do not believe in a 'god'

    "Atheist" implies awareness of beliefs, but denies the existence of a god. A newborn doesn't yet have that concept. It's like saying a newborn doesn't drive because he prefers to ride bicycles.
