There's only one ad-slot on the website, in the top right, and it is filtered to be appropriate for all ages.
While these filters are not perfect and some odd things can slip through (Google's fault, not mine), it sounds like you have some sort of adware installed on your computer.
I suggest you run a full scan with a reputable antimalware/antivirus software and remove any potentially unwanted software.
