    * It's very uncommon. I noticed it with a fairly large portion of BHOL and AMTR. It might have to go quickly enough to skip a few particles (like how particles can skip over several other solid, unpassable particles if they're moving fast enough) and thus land 'in' the BHOL.
Of course, it could also be a fluke. I'm not sure.
    * Not sure why BMTL wouldn't break from negative pressure, but whatever.
As for ISZS, here's the thing--photons are very odd. Photons spawned (perhaps only via brush?) seem to have the potential to turn certain materials into lava. Try it with PSCN; it's ruined my attempts at making a small AMTR reactor once or twice.
The lava thing only happens with solid ISZS. At the moment I can't get it to stay solid for long enough to demonstrate...the fact that I can't erase photons isn't helping much.
As for the heat, that was incorrect. My bad. At least, I think it was incorrect. It seems like the save I observed these in (while fiddling) has generated a lot of oddities. I'm not sure why, and I can't regenerate most of them. I'll see if I can find out what happened.

it should never eat black hole, as it is an exception in the code.

I have never seen photons turn things into lava, if you can reproduce this, that would be helpful. PSCN absorbs photons, nothing else.

Ugh. I don't know why, but compatibility mode was on. This is probably the problem.

It's odd; even now, when bombarding the same structure with photons, nothing happ--wait, got it.
    LoadSaveBlock(78330);
Note that despite the high temperature, as long as compatibility mode is off, this even works with PSCN that's at 22°C. Spawn a block and try bombarding it if you don't believe me.

However, since it's compatibility mode it also probably doesn't matter. I'm not sure why that was set; it might have carried over from another creation without me noticing. I'm pretty sure PHOT turning things into LAVA is a compatibility mode quirk. (It also might have done this with the BHOL--the AMTR could have spawned PHOT, and then the resulting LAVA would have been absorbed immediately after creation, leading me to believe that the AMTR destroyed the BHOL.)

As for feature requests: Make replace mode work with HEAT/COOL/etc.; i.e., with it on, make the target element be the only one affected (heated, cooled, or whatever else). Since fill mode doesn't work with those, hopefully this will solve the problem.

ah ok, yes with heat sim off, photons will turn things into lava, it has always been that way so i should probably leave it alone.
although i should make it not turn ISZS or things into lava, i will look at it.

will try and do that heat/cool thing as well.

    Impressive.
    Ive slipped back in.
sadly I was banned, but I can easily slip back into the flow.

You make it sound like you've accomplished something. @_@

    OMG UPDATE:

another swch fix, desl fire fix, shift-g will make grid go down, BIZR glows from velocity in FIRE,ect. METL/BRMT/BMTL change color when heated in heat gradient view. drawing on clones will set ctype. HEAT/COOL will be specific in heating/cooling in replace mode.

experimental rotate tool, ctrl-r, then select the area to rotate, right now it will only do squares, and no walls. It rotates it counterclockwise 90 degrees.
for now it just deletes the particle, then creates it again, so it doesn't save any properties atm.
