hmm... (with an unsatisfied tone), switch isn't an ideal super conductor, a dedicated element that only conducts instantaneously would be handy, switch tends to instantly turn on and off from the end that it was drawn from (or is drawn closet to P/N type silicon) but still does the whole slow light up thing if de/activated from the opposite end that it was drawn.

    anybody
SPCN (acronym still to be decided), would make electronics much faster and responsive, perhaps it will lead to way more useful (and faster!) user interfaces. At least as I write this I can see super conductor as a neat new element, one that will really help the PT.

grrr... I think you deliberately "forgot" that the masses of us poor non-coders don't have the new versions.
I hate people who brag about their fancy new beta/versions, but i spose that is to be expected from someone actually debugging and creating new stuff for the PT...

And I especially get annoyed at bad grammar:

kamikai, you don't need to do ANY code to get the latest version..

Just go to github.com/facialturd, get the powder toy source, make a project with Visual Studio, click the folder, and hit compile. It would take less than 5 minutes

EDIT: I realize that Visual Studio is a big download for some, so I'll just compile the latest version and upload it somewhere

Ahh... I don't have the proper VS, I do have VB express, but that was a freebie thing from school...
please correct me if I'm wrong, but i dont think I have the software currently available to compile the PT.

would someone please shoot this idiot.
on this forum, i have tried to be a nice user, i really have... but this c4_MANIAC487 user is literally making me grind my teeth and swear.
Normally i would respond in a long winded, smart arse paragraph, which seems to go down alright with the rest of the community. But this just takes it to a new level. Now, I doubt your a troll, but if you are, you are good at it, but now get off the forum. But i presume your not, so I have some facts to tell you mr. c4 manic:

A). Francium is probably not actually the most explosive alkali metal per weight or volume, due to the fact the atoms are HUGE compared to other alkali metals, therefore there are relatively fewer single valence electrons to be ripped off, thus making the total amount of water reacted and the amount of combustible hydrogen produced less. The reason i said probably is because there is never ever more than 30g ON THE ENTIRE PLANET EARTH! it is the second rarest element (after Astatine, because I know your all curious), and has a half life of less than ten minutes!

    B) we already have Rubidium in the PT, a perfectly acceptable alkali metal, so why the hell would you suggest Francium?!?

    C) READ THE FIRST POST! its in the thread name! the first post [edit- did?] says "no periodic table elements"

Mods/Simon, i am really sorry for this out burst, but as this is really the first forum I've actively ever participated in and that I'm to much of a nerdy smart arse for my own good, have kind of broken the rule about respecting others ideas and that i have directly payed out another user, I think that I'm not just flaming, I'm a spontaneously combusting inferno of Dicyanoacetylene...

[oh lol... i just realized that i did respond in a long smart arse paragraph]

Don't request elements from the periodic table.
