@Jakav(View Post) Yes, this problem was first known to happen on Windows. It was only afterwards when it was reported it could happen on certain Linux compilers too. MSVC has thrown errors in this case for years, but I believe only for debug builds (I may be wrong on that I don't use MSVC too often).
But anyway, that commit fixes it, hopefully won't happen again but even I'm definitely used to the old way when writing std::fill
Of the commits since then, the one I linked is the one that most obviously solves the problem with operator[]. If you are getting a crash there, then that commit fixes it.
You reported crashes in your mod earlier, which may be due to this commit not being merged in. Or maybe it's something else. If you do manage to get it running in a debugger, let me know where the crash is. There's a chance it's another spot in the vanilla codebase we need to patch.
I am using the build from fedora/nobara's repos. It should be the same, but I'll try the official download and self-compiling and report back here later.
@KSP2(View Post) I've seen some of their saves. They sure are interesting. It is mild trolling perhaps, but I don't know if I would call it mental illness. Someone truly mentally ill wouldn't be able to create consistent saves in that style with that level of quality. There's definitely a certain care taken in making those saves.
A lot of the saves reference mathmatics, but a lot also reference conspiracy theories. As long as the conspiracy side of things doesn't go too far I don't have a problem with it.
Also, it doesn't appear to be CGI, all of the things in those saves could be drawn manually.
@KSP2(View Post) I'm not sure. This has happened before when the site ran out of space. But that hasn't happened in a long time. Maybe it will resolve itself later ... My quick attempts to fix it didn't help.
Edit: My plan worked, it fixed itself after I did nothing all day.
