@Moettiejoes (View Post) what does version 99.3-99.5 have anything to do with Breakable PIPP? They're past updates. Also, who said anything about no known possibility in making that element when developers could actually do it? Did you even read @jacob1's quote I cited?

You can always just block off PIPE with something like CRAY to achieve the desired effect.

    ALumpOfPowderToy,I want it breakable.

pacmanfan123,I have absolutely no clue what that means and I'm talking about methods using only breakable and vanilla elements, also I'm on mobile and 99.3 is the newest tpt version out on mobile and so if there's a way to do it in the newest updates I wouldn't know.

@Moettiejoes (View Post), I'm afraid that you don't read our posts thoroughly and properly. @ALumpOfPowderToy (View Post) literally instructed to use CRAY as, an electrical source, and PIPE, for its destructibility; I just asked you 3 questions and cited a quote to clarify if you mean the regular members of TPT can't possibly make Breakable PPIP. You still haven't answered my questions.

I think the confusion comes from how elements like CRAY and PSTN can themselves survive unlimited heat and pressure, while PIPE can't. There seems to be different opinions about whether mixing breakable and unbreakable (relatively) parts gives an object that counts as breakable.

Sorry,I meant that jacob1 said to forbid any completely new elements,I'm just asking for a way to make it breakable using prop or something else like that, also I meant the whole thing to be breakable ALumpOfPowderToy said to use it as something to block it off(via using the prop tool) and then removing it also using cray(I think) I don't think we should talk about ALumpOfPowderToy's post because I have a different idea of what he means(we should prob ask him).

    But anyway

Just to clarify I meant non–devs

But just in case can you tell  me what I haven't answered

Though can everybody switch to the discussion breakable PIPP?

With the prop tool? When did I talk about the prop tool? I was telling you to block the PIPE off with some material made by CRAY, so activating the CRAY toggles the pipe.

using an indestructible element would defeat the entire purpose of destructable ppip

Should've replied sooner but I haven't been at home.

There's some specific stuff with .life in here that's unique but also not related to the main function. The main function IS PINV from my mod. There's a lot of off topic comments about PIPE or STOR, but this seems to just be a powered version of INVS. It's also comparable to PAPR, which is an element that we did a playtest of last year.

The problem with PAPR and with PINV before it is that allowing elements to stack, and then allowing it to turn off and on, is inviting problems. TPT doesn't really support stacks, and this is the #1 case why. It won't turn off properly if there's something inside it, and there's no way to do that cleanly. Elements will also get stuck inside when turned off. The author of PAPR became busy and wasn't able to fix these issues. I did fix these problems in PINV using some hacks. It's not something we can support though.

@jacob1 (View Post), Your "#1" link doesn't work. Did you mean to type that as a link or it wasn't intentional at all to make it a link in the first place.
