I get error when i close out of tpt.

Did you try deleting powder.pref? When did it start crashing? What update caused it to start crashing? What do you have open when it does crash? Did you have any lua mods? Does it still crash if you don't draw any elements? Does it happen when you close tpt with a blank screen? -
It happened again. I had qrtz surrounded by 1px of insl an 2px of ttan. I tried to pressrize the qrtz to negative 18. This happened when i closed out.
It crashed in 92.1.
I did not delete powder.pref.
I have no mods installed, just plain old TPT.
It does not crash if there are no elements.
IT HAPPENS AT RANDOM!
It does not crash with a blank screen.

what method do you use to close it (i.e. do you click the X, do you press escape then click continue...)?

Yeah this happens to me, even if I just open TPT and close it without spawning any elements or loading any saves. Something weird that also happens is element names on the menu will change, PHOT would turn to something like PHOTAWRA, with random numbers. I'll try to catch a screenshot next time it happens.

this happened to me too last night! idk what happened all i know is i was playing geometry dash then i closed that and then tpt and it happened! EDIT: it happened to me again i had some mods installed chrome was highlighted then i clicked X on tpt and it crashed EDIT2: also it happened when the save browser was open

can you try using the snapshots instead? Just use the snapshots all the time instead of normal TPT, and see if it happens.
Version 92.1 was released incorrectly, it was compiled with the wrong compiler. It might explain why these problems only started showing up in 92.1 and not 92.0. I haven't been able to reproduce any crashes yet, but I also don't use Windows. -

You can use your stamps, just copy the saves and stamps folder from your previous game directory
