i'm slightly confused by what you said. Not sure what you mean by making pmap obsolete. To make layers work properly, you just have to make pmap a linked list or something (jacksonmj tried to do this once, I think it was almost finished but buggy?). Without that I don't think this suggestion is possible in any way. I definitely don't feel like implementing this anyway.

Also I haven't heard of JoJoBond being the one to start tpt++, I thought Simon did. I know Simon tried twice to redo it in c++, so maybe the first time was started by them.
