Powder Toy 89.2 crash (Mac)

I tried running 89.2 release on my hackintosh (10.7.2) and it failed to run, same error.

    Downloaded it fresh.

I also was able to compile it, but unable to run, although I may have compiled it incorrectly (different error).

    do you have XQuartz installed?

Hmmm, i dont know what is XQuartz, how i can know if i have this ?

    Simon:

How did you download the latest version, did you use the autoupdate or did you download a fresh .app from the site?

I used the autoupdate. But same problem with a fresh app.

Neither of the two betas work for me, nor does the normal version of the game (both after updating with the built-in updater as well as a fresh install). I am on Mac OS X 10.7.5. The game also just crashes upon launch, it doesn't even open the game window.

Too bad this crash couldn't have been reported earlier :|

For now, if the game won't start, download https://powdertoy.co.uk/Download/Builds/Build-275/powder-mac32.zip and ignore the update message in game every time. Although, I thought that the mac version was supposed to be a .dmg file, i'm not sure whether using that will be different.

Also, If you aren't on OS X Mavericks (10.9), and haven't updated, Don't update

I've disabled the MacOS autoupdate and put the V 89.0 download for MacOS on the download page for now
