    IIRC no older version undid to any important checkpoint and they all were as arbitrary.

    If it was up to me, I'd save it small and save it often, also keep a sort of infinite undo list.

    each undo uses something between 3MB and 20MB (I seriously have no idea, but somewhere in here ....) because it has to save an entire second copy of the simulation. So that is why we don't allow more than one. Maybe I could somehow make an option, but i'm not sure.
