    You mean, you hate machines you caused to make so much trouble to yourself? Norton is the worst idea for an antivirus. I'll suggest anything from Kaspersky to NOD32 to BitDefender, if you're willing to pay. If not, you totally should use MSE if you're running a legit Windows. If not, then Avast or AVG might do. Avast isn't the strongest though.

    uh no i meant machines in general are prone to problems. and norton usually does a good job. just this part that is irritating.

    I download it on someone else's computer (with Avast, I think), and it is blocked.
    I download it on this computer (with Norton), and get a virus.
