I can't publish on beta!

    Whenever I try to upload something from the beta version, it says:

    Upload failed with error:
    You may not publish saves from a beta client

    Why doesn't it work? I want to upload something in beta but it won't work...

    It's beta version. You can't upload any saves. If you can...

    "Error: Save file is corrupt or from the newer version."

    The TPT server is as fragmented as is with lots of mods uploading their own saves onto the same server. This will cause a lot of issues so TPT did what they could, at least disabled beta saves.

    I almost never see any saves uploaded from mods, all of those are kept unpublished. But the reason this is disabled is because 98% of people use the release version (I just made that number up ...), and if someone made beta saves they would be unopenable by the majority, and possibly incompatible with the older release version too (really only slightly in piston arms though).

    If you really need to open it and publish it from a release version, get my mod, it can open any save from any version (even future versions as long as the format isn't changed massively)

    Oh, we won't let people publish from the glitchy TPT? Gee, never saw that one coming...

    Well, I actually need to upload something. I did most of my work on beta, but I just found out I can't publish it. Then I'm asking this question: how can I transfer my local saves/stamps to the non-beta version? Anyone know? Thanks.

    Edit:

    @jacob1

    Your mod is a great help, but still, can anyone answer the question above?

    save as a stamp or a local save

    yes, save it as a local save or stamp in my mod, then go into saves/ and copy all the saves you want to the saves/ folder in your normal tpt directory. (if you even have them separate. If not, resaving from my mod is enough I think, it will save it as 86). Local saves have real names and are easier to copy.

    You could also wait until the next release version, but I have no idea when that will be at all, they get released randomly and I don't control that.
