Necro, or new thread?

Note: I would'v convo'd this to a mod, but everyone needs to know so we finally realise what we should do.
So, let's say there's this old thread that I wanna post in. Nope, flamers gonna tell me I necro'd. Create a new topic? Flamers gonna tell me "Uez da sherch bar". In conclusion, is it better to necro, or create a new topic?

Well, less space is used to necro(im gussing thats adding on). BUT the old post might have info you dont have. If making a new topic SEARCH IT UP i got in heaps of.... well i got annoyed. MAKE SURE THE TOPIC IS NEW! AND WELL RESEARCH AND IF SOMMEON SAYs use the search bar yo say you did and tothig came up

Necro, but ask a mod first. Usally the Necro/Search for it applies to suggestions. Mods say search bar, you use search bar, find old topic, and see why it was rejected. -
I'd recommend posting on an old thread. Note: It's not necro if it's completely relevant to the thread. Creating a new thread creates more spam. If you post on a spammy thread (like Jackeea on an old 1000 posts thread), even if it's relevant, it's still necro, IMO.
So basically, I don't vote for either, as posting with full relevance isn't necro. I vote for posting on an old thread will full relevance to the topic and no spammy topics.
