    Chernobyl was part of the Soviet Union. But since the collapse of it, yes. It is currently in Ukraine's land.

    @Powdertech: You're right that Chernobyl isn't in Russia. It's in Ukraine. However, their language still uses the Cyrillic (Russian) alphabet.
