    That is the rule, and it was done for good reason. Asking for votes used to be rampant. Now we just don't let you mention votes at all, and saves are much better for it.

    It clearly breaks the rules on asking for votes. It doesn't matter if it's a "joke", you can't break the rules then try to claim you were joking.
