The steps to electricity is actually simple, Just motors with a line with gear teeth on it, and a spring. When you step, It spins the gear, spining the motor. Spinning motors cause electricity from a copper wire rapped around a rod and a magnet on each side of the motors walls, which have wires connected to them and a brush connected to the rod, when you spin the rod it makes the coper run into the magnetic flow.
