NEREUS MK1 is a preheat-breeder cycle semi-destroyable fusion drive. It runs on only water, and can function in reactor-only mode. Water is used as fuel as well as reaction mass - exhaust is composed of superheated steam and fusion waste products.

    its also the reason the heat loops are there to hest up those sides of the proheaters

    do you mean the innermost compartment of the reactor hygn preheaters? thats normal, the fast pipes tend to push it into a single pipe. if the outermost chamber overflows, it will flow into those "empty" compartments.
