    Nice +1. You can easily turn an adder into a subtractor by inverting the first number and the result, see id:3042047 Also, here is a serial multiplier that does binary long multiplication id:3097029 The forum topic "Serial addition" explains how the adder and multiplier work.

    rooger: that's probably because the maximum number that filt can store is around 1 Billion, so there no problem with that + no computer can store infinite numbers (sometimes they kind of do tho)
