From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Overburden at a coal mining site In mining, overburden (also called waste or spoil) is the material that lies above an area that lends itself to economical exploitation, such as the rock, soil, and ecosystem that lies above a coal seam or ore body. Overburden is distinct from tailings, the material that remains after economically valuable components have been extracted from the generally finely milled ore.

Snow339: i dont think they just used the MIX tool to make the terrain. The elements look like they didnt just use the Mix tool. see the gold. the gold are like streaks instead of randomly mixed together.

Killaship2: you do have a point, but there are multiple glaring issues about it. first of all, the landscape covers more than half the map, so its not ideal for larger stuctures. also, some parts like the random amounts of gold right beneath the surface, dont really makes sense. it also doesn't follow the "landfill" theme and it seems like a afterthought.

hihihihihii: Just because it looks "low effort" doesn't mean it's not cool to mess around with, or undeserving of people upvoting it.

it's low effort cuz it's just a bunch of random elements slapped together and MIX'd together.
