This thruster is in 0 gravity, the tank doesn't catch on fire, and produces thrust. First fill the tank with a flammable substance (or NBLE if you want an ion thruster), then press "Startup Thruster" and wait.

    ironically, if you use NBLE, it works like an ion thruster, but it produces a lot of thrust, unlike real ion thrusters
