Scaldur is a barren wasteland with a thin co2 atmophere.some underground water,oil. it also as lot of minerals,a magnetophere and is about the size of new horizon . so a pretty good candidate a lot better than mars the step:1 is almost complete

    i see two problems with this 1:it pells of the atmophere 2:its stupidly expencive in energy.

    yes we could be there are oil pockets to and if we laser them it will just explode so we need to be carefull

    You could nuke/laser it to get the gas pockets and water out from the crust and give it a stable atmosphere
