  Work on furthering our public infrastructure including more bridges, sewage systems, waterworks and roadworks. Start regulating and standardizing the construction and usage of anything applicable. Search for any good source of fertilizer.

  Domesticate animals for riding, work, and food, and make more farms and plantations. Store grain and rice to reduce famine risk. Build ships and boats, and research sails, stronger sails if we already have them, larger boats and better design, for longer range. Build roads between the capital and neighboring cities, and make oil lamps. Use these oil lamps in morse code signalling systems. Add reflective foil for daytime use as well.

  Create a calendar based on the stars, and sundials. Find materials that will act as fertilizer and look for sulfur and coal deposits. Research better smelting and forging for more effiecent metal and tool production, and look for mean of producing potassium nitrate, or alternatively look for saltpeter deposits. Create glass and research lenses, and use build houses with a stone first floor and wooden second floor, assuming it has a second floor. If not, wooden roof.

  Develop better bows or crossbows, create research teams for improved research speed, Increase mining operations, Build aquaducts to and through cities. Make designated learning places in all towns (any place where people can gather safely will suffice), and begin devoloping better mathematics. Using new alloys, begin producing tools for miners, and develop better tool designs.
