    Research better medicine, such as more precise surgical tools, better medicine, and lensed magnifiers for surgery or examination. Research eyesight correction. What is our current clothing quality/style? I would like to bring us to an mid 1800s/victorian level of clothing quality. 1700s at the very least.

    more heavy duty roping and construction purposes. If not already abolished, give any slave owners a heads up that it will be completely outlawed soon. I will give that order very soon.     Fill barrels with black powder for mining, quarrying, and construction purposes. Research higher quality explosives such as dynamite for these purposes. Develop tiny, low power and range, wheellock pistols for faster and more humane slaughtering of animals. Research better concrete, and use steel rebar in the new and improved mixes for strength.
