  Mars has been in a civil war ever since the United Federation of Mars allied with the Great Terra Republic, however, they stand alone in their fight against the rebels due to the situation on Earth. The Rebels have set up trenches around their capital to defend it, this strategy was effective and has severely slowed down the federation's advance.
