SamDwich 24th May 2022Bovine flags tend to be washed in a classified fireproofing agent, checked for damages to the ballistic-resistant cloth it is made of, then wrapped around the flagpole and finally is secured in place with multiple stainless steel clips. This happens daily, meaning flags usually don't fly for about 25 minutes starting at midnight.
