also the grey blobs have a shorter lifespan so they die quicker so ArolaunTech probably it died when it got close to a food pellet making you think it died from the food.

i just checked it does work see once the grey EXOT touches some broken vibranium it creates BLUE EXOT which then can be turned grey if the grey EXOT touches the blue EXOT after creating it so although it doesnt work that well it on a rare occasion WILL create new species

actually nevermind. the mutated blobs don't infect stuff, but die when touching anything.

We have life! With the stimuli pack from @Ilovegam3z, the Living Blob can evolve. It's also self-sustaining (it's only one pixel, so it can't not self-sustain). I'm adding it to the life section, but let's see if we can come up with a bigger, better lifeform.

stimuli MAY cause mutations cause the blob need to adapt to the enviroment therefore allowing it to mutate in a semi-realistic way.

A while back I made this save: 2789576. It can reproduce and (sort of) evolve, but it requires manual intervention to keep things going, and so I wouldn't consider it true life yet.
