It releases steam from the top and the water can be turned on or off to allow it some toggle capability. Unlike the previous version, this vents the steam and replaces it with cold water, allowing the molten sing to sort of regulate its own temperature.

    Basically, you alter the ctype of lava via the console or the properties tool, then set the ctype to SING
