  Earlier, I used DMND (or VIBR) for bomb launchers, before I discovered the NSCN-FRAY-NSCN-CRAY tech. I think it's kinda unaesthetic that a wrecked ship has untouched diamond batteries that could be used. Reality wouldn't work this way. Henceforth I use this tech. It's easy, you need just know how FRAY and CRAY work (in the case of bombs be cautious with CRAY's tmp value)

  Making a ship that breaks beyond use in one hit is boring, and bad. You can make layers that do what DMND does, and then it's bulky and ugly. The most important part is to make it look good and not break itself. In simulated battles, you can simulate damage even on DMND. Also, I made a laser that breaks DMND even through WALL, so saying it's indestructible is... false.

  @Vampireax Using DMND is a bad style of spaceship making. It's undestructible, halts BOMB and thus is boring. My goal is not to create the most undestructible ship but the ships which would be interesting to fight with.

  This is why I make ships using stable elements, like DMND. ;) If I have to placate some whiny plebeians who hate DMND for some reason (it's one of the original 20 elements, you dirty Philistines), then I use TESC and FRME. I view it as a sin to build your ships with the intent for them to break. You'd doom your soldiers for pride.

  @Vampireax The problem with Construction Ship's engines was fixed. If you want to shut down the engines, press OFF.
