    also includes a pixel size setting - with larger pixels, the effect is much stronger and persists for longer (better when fully zoomed out to 1200x675 and with higher scale)

    @LBPHacker It is actually a moire pattern of the intersection between the pixel grid and the circular EXOT pattern (of an ideal EXOT with no pixel size). Look here, the pattern effect shifts and eventually disappears as it zooms in: https://www.shadertoy.com/view/wdSfWw
