    @NoVIcE, The Moon does not orbit in a circular pattern at all; as its orbit takes on more of an ovular shape. In other parts of the world, the contents of the atmosphere may vary as well. For example, in Madagascar, the atmosphere is quite thick and at sunrise and sunset, the atmosphere is visibly orange -- it acts like a magnifying glass.

    I think the moon looks bigger on some parts of the world. I dunno why, it seems illogical to me. I see it as big as a coin on the sky, about 1 meter away (3ft). But a big moon is more beautiful!
