I have no clue why there is a "d" in fridge but not in refrigerator

    nonononono you have it all wrong. The idea of refrigerant is to cool below ambient temps. With this you could replace the RFRG with HYGN, and it would likely operate better.. In this it's really only the life (2x2) that's doing the cooling. You need to remove the heat while it's under pressure, then let it expand (move to low pressure) which causes it to cool. PIPE doesn't suit this very well, it's a gas system.

    You could have just used mercury instead of deuterium. That way it has a much less chance of exploding. Also you could have used a sing, so, Anyway sorry for the really long comment
