    Also 'Annular and solar' doesn't make sence. You mean annular and total eclipse. Solar eclipse encompasses both of those.

    No the Feb 26 1979 (38 years ago)eclipse was total, but it didn't go coast to coast. The 99 year one you are refering to was the last time for a total eclipse to go coast to coast. And I know the difference between an annular total eclipse lol.
