I have no idea how I've managed to ignore this until now. Turns out that if the tmp of CONV is not 0, it only converts particles whose type equals its tmp. You can basically tell CONV(PSCN) to only convert SPRK and CONV(SPRK) to only convert PSCN.

    Under every CONV in the middle there's another CONV and an ARAY that shoots BRAYs. It's called "layering" :P

    No idea. As a subframer I tend to only check the source of the elements I usually work with. The order in which DTEC looks for particles is one of those weird little details probably only a few of us know about. There might be more :P
