    The width of the PCLN is much more than needed since the beam is much smaller. Try putting VOID directally around the PCLN, and you can turn it on/off from 1 pixel away through INSL. And INST to more efficiently condouct heat to the beam. CLNE making PLSM and VACU around it is very effective at heating also.
