Cool now try to do the same, but first heat the photon, aka not have it spawn at max temp, then use gravity to accelerate it. Don't call gravity accelerators 'weak' when you take the easy way of doing it :) -

if you put filt in front of the laser you can see the beam and glass blocks the beam
