    I would rather see a reactor with DMND to allow PLUT meltdown than one with CLNE-NEUT to fuel the process but yeah PLUT is quite instable.

    no, thats too instable, like i said plutonium isnt supposed to be used in reactors in the first place

    @anatol but this reactor needs constant NEUT CLNE to turn the PLUT into URAN, NEUT and heat, which shouldnt be needed since you have PLUT already! Just start the reaction and let it create the pressure you need to make an infinite reaction, instead of using CLNE for the whole process.

    @Scarking For a nuclear reactor, you need to kick-start the reaction, so you do this by using a neutron gun to bombard the plutonium with neutrons

    Needing CLNE for NEUT while you have a PLUT reactor beats the whole purpose -1.

    it also needs a mechanism to dump to waste when its been used, it fills up and the reactor cant heat the water anymore
