i would recommend koch's snowflake instead. much easier to see that characteristic self-repetition.
Nice, but it's not a fractal; fractals are self-repeating patterns that go down to infinity, such as a triangle with three smaller triangles attached to it that themselves have three smaller triangles attached to them... and so on. Google "Mandelbrot Set" for a good example.
