    expanding on what atomic2385 said: A LASER is "Light Amplification by the Stimulation of Emitted Radiation". Most lasers aren't very powerful anyway, as it requires too much energy for that.

    a laser doesn't have to destroy stuff to be a laser. most 'lasers' in TPT aren't actually lasers anyway, theyr'e just directed streams of light. a real LASER would need an electromagnet
