    if there is an explosion the molten metal from the layered armour blocks the breach and cools to create a barrier. you can see it if you spark the kamikazi button. also, i wouldnt trust the big beefy engineers around the dome. they would get mad and break it or something! well, try to break it (it is 4 meter thick hardened ballistic resistant polymer plating)

    lol i guess you can run in the dome, but also remember engineers are supposed to look like those beefy guys off gears of war XD
