This is not intended to do anything other than speed up photons,and that includes melting stuff. I do realise that this is not the same as a real rail gun, but it's about as close as you can realistically get WITHOUT ACEL.

    Confusion. THis is not a Railgun but a Gauss gun. A Railgun uses 2 rails that inverts their polarities when the bullet go past their positions. A gauss gun uses a long coil which attracts the bullet at the middle of tha barrel before turning off to let the bullet go.
