Decided it would be interesting to try and make a superconducter that needed power in order to conduct electricity. This could be used in more "realistic" power generators, needing high energy superconductors to output power.

    that's how wires work; needing power to go through them to supply power, now see here. that take some power in and convert it in infrared radiation aka heat. this is because the wire has resistance and that can be a problem.
