The National Ignition Facility in California uses 192 lasers to induce hydrogen fusion and produce sustained electricity. This TPT model, the LIFR, (Laser Induced Fusion Reactor) uses 1 laser to induce fusion. Enjoy!

    *was supposed to use 192 lasers to induce hydrogen fusion. They successfully completed the first stages of fusion, but they could not sustain the completely symmetrical sphere of hydrogen that would be required for sustained fusion. +1
