Singularity + Newtonian gravity

    Hello tpt,

I was just wondering if Newtonian gravity could be applied to singularity. I would like to make this suggestion because singularity should effect gravity as it is the most densest form of matter (well, degenerate matter) known to science fiction and is essentially black hole anyway. I'm not completely sure if non-static objects can effect newtonian gravity, but I think my friend once showed me it in a mod.

I'm not entirly sure of any "constructable" uses too, but I'm sure there could be some. Im also unaware of any saves that could be broken by this especialy because there is an on/off function too.

Im not really suggesting this for the uses of it, i'm just kinda suggesting this because it seams sensable and apropriate - if you get my meaning.

thanks, please consider this if possible- therocketeer

It is most likely not going to happen since:
    1. A LOT of calculations would be needed to make a non-static particle control gravity.
    2.

    Wikipedia:

A gravitational singularity or spacetime singularity is a location where the quantities that are used to measure the gravitational field become infinite in a way that does not depend on the coordinate system. These quantities are the scalar invariant curvatures of spacetime, which includes a measure of the density of matter.

There it says that it would be an infinite gravitational field that does not depend on a coordinates system, which is how newtonian gravity works.

So... It is not really possible for it to work, the best that it can really work is with negative pressure, unless they wanted to make it just have random pressure.

    Wow, that took a while.

It won't cause lag, i've seen non-static newton grav in a mod and it was just the same as normal, + wiki has no part in this, I don't care if a singularity infinatly bends space time around it, I'm just suggesting that it has gravity as well as a vacume. I'm gonna leave this to the developers to debate about.

Mods might be a different version.
It was a good idea but it might not be made.

yeah, but do you agree that if it could, it should?

You know, this is a pretty good idea, Ive never seen it before, and I didnt expect it from a user I have not seen much before, thats not common and you may end up being a very helpful user one day.

Wow, cool, did not know that, lol, thats pretty cool
