No, it's a reference to a comedian.
He made a joke about how whenever he pointed something out that was obvious she'd just go "I know...I know..."
So he joked about getting an elephant from the zoo with his friends so when she came home she'd go "There's an elephant in the bathroom!" and he'd just say "I know...I know..."
