Or you can type like normal people. Or you can keep it paused and hover over the menu icon you want. Saves are stored on a server, we have no need for folders. There are tags.
@ihearttpt(View Post) Yes, the game is trying to get faster. Again, exit out, hover over the menu or element in question, and you can see the name through the console display. Again, you can search your saves for tags. Tags will also search titles. In fact, I believe it searches for title first and then tags, doesn't it? I'm not a troll, I just point out the flaws in current suggestions. You have Cracker supporting you, so please don't automatically assume everyone who talks bad about your suggestions is a troll.
I would love folders personally, a folder for my powerplants, a folder for my bombs, ect. It would be way more organised and I could access them a lot faster without trying to go through several pages of saves. And the console bit is very interesting indeed. I cant tell you how many times i have forgoten the name of an element that I wanted to set the temp to or change. @Neospector He has a very valid point. I cant believe you don't like those ideas.
@Neospector(View Post) Well actually that guy suggested some useful stuff, really useful. No I don't say that because Cracker approved. Just read again.
I mean come on, seriously, he even uses commas.
The only correction I'd like to make is that the console should have both options, to type and to choose commands from a list. That is all.
A list of options would be nice, but sort of defeats the point. We should still have all the possible commands written onto the front of the console itself.
Though we could do like Valve's engine for portal I saw, and have an up-down key that cycles through commands that start with the same letter.
...Except that we probably only have like 10 commands I can remember. @_@
