Neutron effects

Neutrons don't seem to interact with the new elements in 'odd' ways like with the old ones, like turning c4 into goo. It would be cool to have these things for some of the new elements as well, just for fun. For example, it could turn sand into dust, liquid rubidium into water, etc.; just some fun effects.

Why would an element turn into a molecule with the addition of a single neutron. Good idea though.

It happened with the old elements and I noticed it didn't happen with the new ones. I just made suggestions, it doesn't have to be those, I really don't care as long as neutrons do something.

Yeah that's actually a good point. However, if he made this happen it would have to be somewhat logical. For example, I could imagine Goo becoming retarded in contact with Neutrons.

Yeah, but C4 becoming goo isn't logical at all. Plant into wood somewhat, but Nitrogen into oil not at all. It doesn't have to be logical, just fun.

    It's NOT nitrogen but nitroglycerin.

i don't understand why everyone is being so technical here?

First of all it's just a game.

Second of all adding neutrons to anything would only create a different isotope af that element.

so if you want to be REALLY technical then neutrons should do nothing to anything in the game except make them have a higher atomic mass.

OR if you'd like to be fun (which is what the powder toy is all about) then agree with Awesan and support him in making neutrons have an effect on the new additions to the powder toy (as i have just done) :D.

We would like the to have new neutron abilities but they could be atleast remotely sensible.

of course, it should be scientifically realistic but not so outrageous as to be "alchemy".

so turning C4 into goo? well i don't know what either are made of but i don't think its too realistic. but like i said it should be fun. Turning sand into dust sounds good though.
