i believe we should be able to manually adjust the framerate so:

    1. people with slower computers could get a smoother simulation
    and,
    2. in life simulations we could see more easily how life grows

    2. go make a mod that has "Adjust framerate" k?

Do I need to say it again?
TPT doesn't have an 'engine' from which the pixels are displayed. Everything works on-screen. The particles get reactions based on on-screen calculations and stuff. Adjusting framerate means somehow making it more processor heavy so it would lag and slow down. Now do you understand?

What makes TPT speed up and slow down by itself?
