Anyway I've been awarded with the Medal of Honor and Purple Heart for fighting against the Empire of Spammers in the Great War of 3000 Pages on WoW General Forums.

Remember the .hta virus?

After the captcha was implemented, the spamming stopped...until someone on /g/ found a bug in the Recaptcha code (which is used by thousands of sites world wide)...and the spammer updated his code. Google fixed Recaptcha the next day though.

The funny thing is, the virus would take a random file from the My Documents folder of the person who clicked the virus and embed it into all the images that computer sent (because of the virus). I got a bunch of random stuff, but there were also good ones, like scanned passports, resumes, and I believe one person found a document with the person's username/password to every site he signed up for + his SS and passport numbers.

I got to 4chan's /sci/ every once in a while. The invasion of lawnmowers was ridiculous, so I made a GR thread and everyone cheered.
