A New Rule - Shameless Advertising

'No Advertising On Other People's Comment Wall.' This is incredibly annoying to see how many people actually do this, and it't the first page that suffers the most. Im tired of looking at some great creation and seeing: "Mine is heaps better, search user:blahblahblah." Sameless advertising is plain out frowned upon and i suggest it should be against the rules.

We have many rules, yes i know. I think this would be useful for those who have had their creations reach the front page.

(Sorry for posting this again, i got banned and my thread got locked because my thread name was too short, even know that isnt against the rules.)

    This goes down as spam.

New rules are in the making, so hold on tight.

Possibly. And technically lol it is, your thread titles are supposed to be descriptive. It's in the rules. :D

It would be VERY nice if this sort of thing was reported.

Well i think the title 'New Rule' is quite acceptable when compared to something like "Look". Do you mean advertising on other peoples walls?

I was saying that if your thread title doesn't reflect what's inside of it, then we have reason technically to remove it. The length is more of a forum code thing if it blocks you from making it.

Advertising on other people's comment walls isn't really against the rules, but it's annoying. Which makes it bannable.

Ok i get that its a reason to remove the thread but is it really a good enough reason to ban someone?

First warning, then ban. Most sites do that.

Actually, no. It's read the rules or get banned. That's how people learn.

But most of the rules are only "minor" and not worthy of an immediate ban of any length.
